SPEAKING.APP

Practice Your Wedding Speech Out Loud.

For the father of the bride, the maid of honor, the best man, and the couple's thank-you.

speaking.app does not write your wedding speech. It helps you rehearse the speech you already have: record a full run, check the time, review your pace and filler words, and practice looking up from the page.

Um, basically your deck kind of explains the business. And your delivery, like, closes the round, I guess.

Your deck explains the business. Your delivery closes the round.

So, basically, a brilliant message kind of dies if you, like, can't hold the room, you know.

Um, I suppose doubt is kind of contagious. So you should sort of speak with absolute certainty, perhaps.

Doubt is contagious. Speak with absolute certainty.

So I guess your resume, like, gets you in the room. And your delivery kind of gets you the job, I think.

Your resume gets you in the room. Your delivery gets you the job.

So, basically, a brilliant message kind of dies if you, like, can't hold the room, you know.

The feedback

Analyze your delivery. Refine your words.

Every filler word, weak word, and repetition gets flagged. See where your speech lands, and let the tool tighten the parts that ramble. Toggle the layers, or switch to the clean rewrite.

Um, so, for those who don't know me, I'm Sarah, and I've, I've basically been Emma's best friend since, like, the third grade. I just want to say that, honestly, Emma is one of the kindest, most loyal, funniest people I've ever met. When she met Jack, I could, I could kind of tell right away something was different. She smiled more. She, um, laughed more. She was just happier. And that's really what love is supposed to do, you know?

What you get

01

Check the actual speaking time

Ask the couple or organizer how much time you have, then record the complete speech. The timer shows whether the spoken version fits and where you started to rush.

02

Review the opening minute

Record your first 60 seconds, from the opening line into the first story. Review the transcript, pace, and filler words, then repeat that section before running the full speech again.

03

Talk to the room, not the page

Review pace, pauses, and intonation, then mark the places where you can look up. You can also shorten sentences that feel natural on paper but awkward when spoken.

Common questions

Will speaking.app write my wedding speech for me?

No. speaking.app is for rehearsing a speech you have already written. Record the draft out loud and review its length, transcript, pace, filler words, and delivery.

How long should a wedding speech be?

There is no universal length, so ask the couple or organizer what is expected. If no limit was given, record the full speech and use the result to decide whether every story and aside needs to stay.

How many times should I rehearse a wedding speech?

Rehearse until you know the order of the speech and can deliver the opening and closing without depending on every written word. Review each run and repeat the sections that are too long, unclear, or difficult to say naturally.

Can I upload a voice memo of me practicing?

Yes. If you have already been rehearsing into your phone, upload the recording for a transcript and feedback on pace, pauses, filler words, and delivery. Uploading existing recordings is part of Pro, which is $19.99 per month or $99.99 per year.

Does the free version help with a wedding speech?

Yes. Free practice includes a transcript and feedback on filler words and pace, with no credit card required. Full speech analysis and uploaded voice memos are Pro features.
